Piano / Keyboard Bundles
Budget
$200
It's tough to find something new for under $200 that will last and have what you need, so at this price point we recommend finding something used on Reverb
If you go the used route make sure you get a sustain pedal!
But if you want something new, this one on Amazon will work:

Stand (optional but recommended)

Mid-Tier
$550
At this price point you can get a very solid new keyboard, stand, and bench. Yamaha is a good brand in this range.
Keyboard + Pedal
Stand
Bench
High End
$1,500
This is one of our favorite keyboards to play and what we prefer to use when playing at an event because it's light but really powerful. Highly recommend this keyboard and the extra heavy-duty bench and stand.

High End 2
$2,000
This is an all-in-one bundle for a digital piano that looks like an upright piano. We have had a number of these over the years and they work pretty well, but they are bulky to move around so it's not ideal if you will be putting it away between uses.
Also, if you have the room for this, and you don't require a digital piano, you might want to check out some acoustic upright pianos at your local piano store. They can be around this same price point and will give you a much more authentic feel.
Digital Piano Bundle
Guitar Bundles
Budget
$190
Similar to most instruments, this is a tough price point for new items, but you definitely can get something new that isn't bad.
We recommend this bundle for getting started with the guitar - it comes with the guitar, an amplifier, all the cables you need, a tuner, and a bunch of other nice-to-haves that you normally have to buy separately. It's not the best guitar in the world, but it will get you started.
Guitar Bundle
Mid-Tier
$500
If you can spend $500, you have a ton of options and your decision should be based on preference; every style of guitar plays differently.
This is a good guitar that will last you a long time and will enable you to play pretty much whatever type of music you want to: https://amzn.to/3IgGFqP
You can browse other guitars on Sweetwater or on Reverb for used ones
Make sure you get an amplifier and 1/4" cables!
High End
$1,000+
If you're just starting out, we really recommend that you not buy an expensive guitar until you learn how to play at least a little bit. Every guitar is different and buying something expensive before you know what you like might
But if your heart is set on something expensive, and you don't want to go to a store to look at them in-person, I would recommend either a Gibson Les Paul (if you're into classic rock), a Fender Stratocaster (if you like jazz and blues), or a Jackson Soloist (if you're into metal).
